As the international Erasmus+ project "Don't Get Caught in The Cycle of Addiction!" reached its midpoint in Gijón, Spain, youth workers from 11 European countries shifted into high gear to tackle the modern epidemic of technology dependency. The day commenced with an intensive research summit where country delegations presented profound insights into various facets of digital obsession.

From mobile phone and online gaming addictions dissected by the Italian, Romanian, Portuguese, and Bulgarian groups, to the rising menace of cyberbullying analyzed by the Turkish team, participants collectively mapped out the psychological boundaries of technology overuse. To ground these theoretical frameworks, attendees underwent a professional technology addiction diagnostic test carefully designed by expert psychologists to map out their own digital vulnerabilities.

The afternoon witnessed an innovative, high-impact public intervention that transformed the crowded streets and parks of Gijón into an interactive theater. A dedicated music and dance group composed of the youth workers captivated local crowds, drawing them in with vibrant performances.
