The Erasmus+ KA153 – Mobility of Youth Workers project "Breathe Up Mind" (Project No. 2025-3-ES02-KA153-YOU-000381042), coordinated by Generaciones Saludables España, was successfully completed in Madrid, Spain, after bringing together youth workers from Spain, Türkiye, North Macedonia, Italy, Hungary, and Ukraine between 19 and 25 April 2026.

Throughout the project, participants took part in an intensive programme of non-formal education activities focusing on mindfulness, emotional resilience, stress management, body awareness, breathing techniques, nature-based learning, and self-care. Through interactive workshops, practical exercises, and intercultural exchange, youth workers strengthened both their personal well-being and their professional competencies, while discovering innovative approaches that can be applied in their daily work with young people.

Beyond the educational activities, the project created a valuable space for international cooperation, allowing participants to exchange good practices, discuss common challenges faced by youth workers, and build lasting partnerships for future collaborations. The mobility also highlighted the importance of prioritising the mental health of youth workers as a key factor in creating healthier and more inclusive environments for young people.

One of the project's lasting achievements is the development of practical resources and methodologies that participants will transfer to their local organisations and communities. The knowledge and skills gained during the mobility will contribute to promoting mindfulness, emotional well-being, and sustainable youth work practices long after the project's conclusion.

The successful completion of Breathe Up Mind marks another important step toward strengthening the quality of youth work across Europe. By empowering youth workers with practical tools to support both their own well-being and that of the young people they work with, the project leaves behind a sustainable impact and reinforces the value of international cooperation through the Erasmus+ Programme.🤝🌍
