The European Commission has launched a public consultation on the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) and EU Aid programs, open until February 5. The aim is to gather information, experiences, and opinions from stakeholders to evaluate and improve these programs. The consultation will assess the ESC 2021-2017, the final evaluation of the 2018-2020 program, and the EU Aid Volunteers initiative 2014-2020. Participants include young people from education, volunteers, NGOs, public authorities, educators, and others. The ESC, launched in 2018, allows young people to engage in solidarity activities, while the EU Aid Volunteers initiative (2014-2020) supported humanitarian efforts outside the EU. It was suspended in 2020 and integrated into ESC.
